THE VAT ROOM AND CELLAR
THE VAT ROOM AND CELLAR
The work of time.
Patinated brass scales gleam in a majestic setting where Far Eastern inspiration mingles with French classicism. Here, countless aesthetic and technical details live together in perfect harmony. An ornate gateway through which light shimmers, a grandiose, comfortable grape-sorting hall with perfect acoustics, and moon gates illustrated with Tao symbols bring a matchless sense of refinement. In the cellars, the precious odd and even vintages mature at their own pace on two separate floors.
This is where the patient work necessary for producing a Grand Cru Classé is finally completed.
Le hameau

Both cosmopolitan and casual, it’s a lively spot that offers simple pleasures and tasty treats in a friendly, authentic setting. There’s a playroom for the kids, books to browse through, a place to play pétanque, home-grown herbs and fruit, an amazing kitchen with a fireplace, delicious food available all day and a wine shop.

GARDEN OF CONTEMPLATION
Meandering interlude
The white petals, a black carpet of Ophiopogon planiscapus Nigrescens, and a minimalist meandering green line like a winding stream lend themselves to quiet contemplation.
Inspired by Yin and Yang, the setting recalls the complementary nature of the sky and the earth.
A sense of freedom purity reigns in this series of three enclosures. The imagination is stimulated by the burgeoning flower garden with its vibrant, cheerful colours. A meandering passageway leads calmly into the Garden of Contemplation. A soft, vivid pale green carpet of rare moss (scleranthus uniflorus) provides a delicate pathway for body and mind. In this imaginary Garden of Eden, the mind soars as the eye wanders over geometric plant motifs that lend themselves to meditation. The senses are calmed, purified, and subtly prepared for discovering the Garden of Euphoria.

THE VINEYARD
THE VINEYARD
AN AMAZING COLOUR PALETTE
Near the vat room and cellars, just in front of the château, three of our Merlot plots set the tone for the seasons as the years go by. The other Marquis d’Alesme grapes grow in the northern section of the appellation, where three large, perfectly exposed areas produce our great Cabernets, which are the soul of the estate.
